Tarif Type Specimen

A 12-page specimen for Tarif — a bilingual typeface — built around a single rule: only typographic anatomy is allowed to do the talking. No imagery, no decoration; just type as subject and as evidence.

Each spread tests the typeface against a different demand — display weight, body texture, English/Arabic counter-rhythm, numerals, kerning under stress. The monotone palette keeps focus on the letterforms themselves, where bilingual harmony is either earned or it isn’t.
